Frangipanis & an angel...

Summer has 'Frangipani' trees blooming everywhere, spreading a carpet of delicate fragrant flowers on the pavements.

Bring simple elements of nature, of the season into your home. Fragipanis, or Chamelis.
frang1
Line them up on your window sill or on a table...

Frangipanis just need small bowls of water where you can float them but to add a little something, take out those simple 'yera' glasses or chai gilaas and float single flowers in them.
frang2
Cluster them on an interesting platter...

Bring in the angel:-) You can create center of interest by adding any element like a small buddha or any idol...

Let your creativity flow. Just remember to take in the intoxicating fragrance of these delicate flowers as you pass by the arrangement. I promise you, you will pass by many times in a day;-)

I just love them too. When I go walking I pick up the white frangipanis and the pink ones and let them float in the uruli.

Love how you have lined them up so sweetly in the first shot. And yay for Yera glasses, you've really given them another lease of life.

Lovely! The frangipanis are one of my favourite flowers. They lend themselves so easily to so many different decor ideas. And best of all, they're fragrant too... can't beat that!

The ideas are 'real simple' but I believe that simplicity always works...

lovely series Archana! I think you are the mistress of "light" and creativity!

Great idea, as usual, Arch. But just for the record, frangipanis are called 'champa' and not 'chameli'. The latter is the name of a smaller flower, white and fragrant, that blooms in late monsoons (around August-end).
You can also recycle old bottles for flower decoration. For more ideas on this, do visit my blog.

Thanks all:-)

Creative Rumblings~ Thanks for the comment:-)

What I meant was you could use 'Frangipani' or 'Chamelis' which is Jasmines or any summer flower:-)
